Women's Rower Named to 2nd Team All

NEW LONDON, Conn. - Recently, the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association announced their All-American Teams for Divisions I, II, and III.

Hali Hanley '23 of CGA Women's Rowing was the only Bear to make the list, earning 2nd Team All-America status.

Hanley finished 4th in NEWMAC Championship and 10th at New England Championships. Hanley has been a four-year member of the Varsity Eight.

According to Coach Doolittle, "In the boat, she brought a knowledge of the sport and of the stroke that would rival most coaches, she was a leader on and off the water and a huge resource for our coaches as she was able to provide an insight and feedback from the boat that was reliable and crucial to the success of the crew."

Not only in the water, but she has excelled on the erg and in the weight room with a new 2k PR of 7:18.5 and multiple PR's in her lifting including a 300 lb. deadlift and 285 lb. back squat.
