Pokemon Fan Transforms Elliptical Machine into a Pokemon

A creative Pokemon fan uses their welding skills to deconstruct and transform an elliptical machine into a well-known pocket monster.

A very creative Pokemon fan recently shared how they transformed an elliptical machine into a well-known pocket creature. It seems that the resourcefulness and creativity of the Pokemon fan base knows no bounds, and the community was understandably impressed after they saw which Pokemon was replicated through the welding prowess of one particular fan.

Many members of the Pokemon community are quite crafty, and they do not seem to hold back when it comes to showing off their creations. The current number of Pokemon in the universal Pokedex provides a lot of inspiration, so fans often post about their handmade creations online. Some like to use thread and cloth to make crocheted dolls or toys, while others even sacrifice valuable Pokemon TCG pieces to make beautiful 3D cards. However, this time, a fan seems to have gone above and beyond, using unconventional materials to recreate a beloved pocket creature from the franchise.

Posting several photos on Reddit and uploading an entire video of the creative process to YouTube, Mr. Zoto AKA PokeWelder-Zach showed off how they transformed an elliptical machine into a Pokemon. In the images shared on Reddit, Mr. Zoto shared images to summarize how they broke down the machine into pieces and then reconstructed them into a figure resembling a particular pocket monster. They did not reveal which Pokemon they had made until the end, encouraging viewers and fellow Redditors to play the famous "Who's that Pokemon?" game. At the end, it was unveiled that Mr. Zoto had turned the elliptical machine into the Psychic-type Alakazam from Gen 1.

Pokemon fans will probably be impressed by how Mr. Zoto used the different metal pieces to create the body and features of the Alakazam figure. They even utilized the machine's display console as the statue's face and the handlebars to represent the Pokemon's long mustache. To keep fans guessing, the yellow-and-brown color scheme of Alakazam was only sprayed onto the pieces at the latter end of the process, just to confirm the identity of the Pokemon. According to the content creator, the piece they crafted is one of a kind and is also up for sale for any Pokemon fan who wants to own such a unique piece of art.

Mr. Zoto is known for creating unique pieces of Pokemon art and mainly started by using bike chains and then moved forward with other metal materials. Hopefully they make more nontraditional art pieces based on Pokemon because many within the community would probably love to see what they come up with next.
